"NOS" VINTAGE PR3512C-EXT

FireBelly Amplifier Company is proud to announce that it has just completed construction of a hand-built, "one-of-a kind" limited edition, "NOS" amplifier. Every component has been meticulously selected and installed with care and precision to produce a one-of-a-kind, vintage all-tube guitar amplifier that becomes part of your instrument. (see pictures below).

All tubes in this authentic vintage amplifier are NOS (New Old Stock) and have been hand selected from late '50's and early '60's tube stock. Tube compliment starts with a vintage Mullard rectifier, three, "finger-responsive" Tungsol pre-amp tubes, a super-quiet Telefunken reverb driver tube and a duet of original RCA 6L6GC clear-top "Blackplates" for power output. The Power transformer and Output transformer are both from Heyboer.

Hovland tone capacitors are installed in the tone stack because of their exceptional dynamics, speed, focus, correct timbre and depth of field. PEC/Allesandro and CTS potentiometers are at the helm of the control panel with all hand mounted parts attached to a temperature stabilized, G10 Glass-Epoxy tag board. Lush reverb is the result of a 6-spring, "type 9" Accutronics reverb tank. Sprague/Atom filter capacitors create an all tube guitar amplifier that is so quiet, it idles below a whisper.

The cabinet is furniture grade, hand rubbed, solid Cherrywood and this cab produces clear and crisp transfer of tone with a sweet overall timbre. To capture the true vintage tone of the late 50's and early 60's, an authentic 12" Jensen AlNiCo P12N with bell cover is found under the hood. This speaker produces a full round bottom, clearly defined mids, and the perfect blend of top-end sparkle.

The circuit is based on the 1964, AA1164 vintage Fender® Princeton Reverb® schematic with enhancements that add tonal versatility to an already unique guitar amplifier. An extended range mid-control, post-phase inverter master, and mid-fat boost control are also part of the tonal compliment. Output is increased to 36-watts feeding a 1 X 12 with an extended size cab that adds rich harmonic fullness to the mid and low end frequency spectrum.
